About Me

Where it began

My journey with dogs began in the Army, where I served for 13 years. During this time, I developed a deep understanding and appreciation for canine behaviour and training. My experience includes training search dogs, a role that sharpened my skills and fueled my passion for working with dogs.

After my military career, I continued to train search dogs and assist owners with their dogs. This dual role allowed me to see the immense need for professional, compassionate dog training in everyday life.

Driven by this realisation, I founded Dogaholics—a space where I could dedicate myself fully to helping dog owners build strong, lasting relationships with their pets.

I’m proud to introduce my pack, which includes two working explosives detection dogs, along with some other lovable members of the team: Milo, Rooster, Doris, Magde, and Frankie.

Milo: A spirited chocolate working cocker spaniel with boundless enthusiasm for his work. His energy and eagerness to please make him an absolute joy to train and work alongside.

Rooster: A driven Labrador x Pointer mix with a cheeky character. Rooster’s sharp intelligence combined with his playful spirit keeps me on my toes and reminds me daily of the importance of individualised training approaches.

Doris: A loyal and gentle Rottweiler, Doris may look imposing but is a big softie at heart. Her calm and confident nature makes her an amazing companion and a great example of the Rottweiler’s true, loving character.

Magde: A feisty little Jack Russell with a big personality, Magde is always ready for an adventure. Her tenacity and sharp mind mean she’s always quick to learn, but her cheeky side keeps things interesting!

Frankie: The adorable French Bulldog with endless charm. Frankie loves to be the center of attention, and his affectionate, easygoing nature brings joy to everyone around him. Despite his laid-back demeanor, he’s always up for a bit of fun and training

We were struggling with having taken on two young dogs at the same time, both of them were nervous and one was dog reactive, Caz did a home visit and went through all the basics, things you would never have thought of but were invaluable to setting us up for success, we’ve since had some further one to one sessions with her, both of our dogs go to day school which they absolutely love and we’ve also started joining her pack walks which we’ve found invaluable and I can honestly say we’re making good progress.
We can not recommend this lady enough, you can tell as soon as she takes control of your dog that she knows her stuff, she’s straight forward, none judgmental and she genuinely wants you to succeed and if you’re having ‘a wobble’ she’s just a phone call away.
If you’re struggling with your dog or puppy give this wonderful lady a call, you will not regret it, it’s the best decision we ever made, just be prepared to be demoted as the apple of your dogs eyes! Both our dogs think she is the bees knees, we don’t get a look in when Caz is around🤣

Our Rottweiler Logan had reactivity issues prior to him passing away a few years ago- Caz spotted the problem quickly and completely changed our lives for the better. We cannot believe the progress we have made together and he truly loves Caz and gets excited when he knows he's going to day school. Caz is extremely supportive and always at the end of her phone if you need help, guidance or just some confidence boosts. Would thoroughly recommend for any owner, any situation, any breed, any age.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Caz is brilliant. She has a very relaxed but informative method, and our Labrador has made great strides in being so much more relaxed around other dogs now -after he was attacked last year.

We're continuing to work on 'pulling' whilst walking and making good progress.

All the activities from individual tuition, day school, pack walks etc are all beneficial and have been very useful.

I have been to 3 previous dog trainers with my dog with minimal progress then started with Caz at Dogaholics and although we still have a way to go I could tell almost straight away we are finally on the right track to getting the control we should have with him.
